This listing is for a unique, artistic interpretation of your beloved pet! One pet per 8” x 10” portrait. When you purchase this listing, you will be prompted to fill out a few questions so I have a little bit more information on your pet. Please e-mail 1-3 photos of your pet to kit@kitgrayillustration.com along with your order number after purchase. Please do not order until you are ready to send a photo immediately afterward.

Sketches are completed on 184 lb. tan (left) or grey (right) toned paper and while the paper size will be 8” x 10”, the sketch size will vary slightly depending on the reference photo provided. All sketches are completed using only black pastel and most sketches are head/chest only.
Because these sketches are done in pastel, it is highly recommended that you frame your piece away from the glass. If you do not wish to use a mat for this purpose, I can provide clear art glass separators/spacers for a small fee. These spacers are very easy to apply along the inside of the glass so that there is a small amount of space between the glass and the artwork. The spacers provided are fitted to an 8” x 10” frame. This video shows how the spacers are applied and how they work. I recommend keeping the glass inside the frame (flipped face down) while applying the spacers, just to make sure they line up perfectly with the edges.
